Holy Week in Bisceglie — Good Friday Processions

The 2025 edition of the Holy Week in Bisceglie had its central moment on Friday, April 18. At 9:30 AM, the Rite of the Meeting took place, symbolically representing the final encounter between Jesus, carrying the cross, and the Addolorata Mother, animated jointly by the Confraternities of the Addolorata and the Holy Martyrs. In the afternoon and evening, the Procession of the Mysteries traversed the streets of the center with the nine statues carried on shoulders by confreres in traditional attire, concluding with the Via Crucis on a stage set up in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II. As per tradition, the celebrations drew thousands of faithful to the historic center of Bisceglie.
