In 2025, with Easter celebrated on April 20, the Holy Week rites in Villarosa followed the tradition passed down through generations. On Good Friday, the confraternities of Saint John, the Most Holy Crucifix, the Holy Sepulchre, Saint Barbara, Saint James, Our Lady of the Chain, and Our Lady of Sorrows led the Via Crucis, the Crucifixion at Calvary, and, in the afternoon, the Deposition with the procession of the urn of the Dead Christ through the historic center.

The celebrations concluded on Easter Sunday with the traditional encounter between the Risen Christ and the Madonna at the four crossroads, a moment of joy shared by the entire community. The strong popular participation confirmed the identity value of these rites for the village in the province of Enna.
