Edition 2025 — Sant'Agata Holy Week

In 2025, Sant'Agata di Militello once again celebrated its Holy Week with the usual participation. Local parishes, particularly Santa Maria del Carmelo, animated the rites from Palm Sunday to Easter, keeping the tradition of the Good Friday Procession of the Mysteries through the town center alive.

Holy Week 2025

In 2025, the rites of Holy Week took place according to the liturgical calendar, with Palm Sunday, the Paschal Triduum, and the Procession of the Mysteries on Good Friday as the central moments. The community of Sant'Agata di Militello, in the heart of the Nebrodi mountains in the province of Messina, renewed that year the popular devotion that has always accompanied the days of the Passion, through liturgical celebrations, performances, and processions involving the entire citizenry.
