Edition 2025 — Holy Cross Rosolini

In May 2025, Rosolini celebrated the Holy Cross Festival with the traditional calendar of religious rites and popular moments. From the pilgrimage to the hermitage on May 1st to the final evening procession, the city renewed its devotion linked to the 1553 discovery of the cross, amidst tastings of local products, the collection of votive gifts, and fireworks.

The 2025 edition of the Holy Cross Festival in Rosolini featured the most cherished rites of the city's tradition. On May 1st, the faithful reached the Holy Cross hermitage on a pilgrimage, accompanying the cross along the Via Crucis to the cave of the discovery. In the following days, Eucharistic celebrations and popular events took place, with food stands and illuminations in the streets of the center. The festival concluded with the solemn evening procession of the statue, the brass band, and fireworks, in an atmosphere of strong community participation.
