Edition 2025 — Passion of Christ in Blera

In 2025, the Historical Re-enactment of the Passion of Christ in Blera took place on Friday, April 18, Good Friday. As per tradition, the Viterbo Tuscia village relived the Passion, Crucifixion, and Resurrection with a period-costume procession through the historic center, organized by the Associazione del Venerdì Santo.

2025 Edition

The Historical Re-enactment of the Passion of Christ took place in Blera on Friday, April 18, 2025, on the occasion of Good Friday. In this edition as well, the community of the Viterbo village enlivened the streets of the historic center with costumed actors, retracing the episodes of the Passion up to the scenes of the Crucifixion and Resurrection. The event, with free admission, confirmed Blera's role as one of the most deeply felt Good Friday events in the Viterbo Tuscia, in the Lazio region.
