Edition 2025 — Calatrava Pageant
2025 Edition
The 2025 re-enactment of the Historical Pageant of the Knights and Monks of Calatrava was held on Sunday, August 17, in Orsara di Puglia, in the Monti Dauni. Over 200 performers in period costumes, including knights, monks, ladies, musicians, and flag-wavers, paraded through the streets of the historic center, from Largo San Michele towards Largo San Domenico, Porta San Pietro, Corso della Vittoria, and Piazza Municipio, reaching the Abbey of Sant'Angelo.
Supported by the municipal administration, the event featured the cultural association Musica è with medieval music and dances, and the Gruppo Florentinum of Torremaggiore with flag-wavers and musicians. The local press described the edition as the most impressive parade in recent years, confirming the deep bond between the community and the memory of the Order of Calatrava.
