Edition 2025 — Historical Pageant Grazzano Visconti

In 2025, the Historical Pageant of Grazzano Visconti once again animated the neo-Gothic village of Vigolzone (Piacenza) with its traditional medieval re-enactment. Costume parades, knight tournaments, flag-throwers, and ancient crafts accompanied visitors on a day dedicated to the legend of Valentina Visconti, paving the way for the fiftieth edition in 2026.

The 2025 edition

The 2025 edition of the Historical Pageant of Grazzano Visconti confirmed the spring ritual that has drawn visitors to the village in Val Nure, province of Piacenza, for decades. Ladies, knights, and men-at-arms from the Anguissola, Malaspina, and Nicelli families paraded between the castle and the village streets, re-enacting the journey of Valentina Visconti to France.

As is tradition, the day featured historical pageants, weapon shows, flag-throwers, and ancient crafts, with the participation of the Pro Loco and dozens of volunteers from the Municipality of Vigolzone. An edition that served as a prelude to the fiftieth anniversary celebrated in 2026.
