Edition 2025 — Historical Cavalcade of Bovino

In 2025, Bovino celebrated the Patronal Feast of the Madonna di Valleverde from August 28th to 30th, with the Historical Cavalcade scheduled for August 29th. The Monti Dauni village renewed the civil and religious rite that unites the entire community and the towns of the ancient diocese, attracting numerous visitors to the historic center for the costume procession, religious parade, and shows.

2025 Edition

The Pro Loco Bovino published the participation regulations for the Historical Cavalcade of August 29, 2025, confirming the event's inclusion within the patronal feast of the Madonna di Valleverde, from August 28th to 30th. As per tradition, the procession started from the town entrance to climb along the main street towards the Ducal Castle and the Cathedral, featuring the offering of the oil, authorities with banners, and living tableaux in period costumes. The Agosto Bovinese 2025 calendar accompanied the festival with cultural events, a dialect poetry competition, and live music shows in the historic center of Bovino, in the Province of Foggia.
