Historical Carnival of Apricena 2025
The 13th edition of the Apricena Carnival took place over two main days. Sunday, February 23, marked the opening, with actress Manuela Arcuri as godmother and a DJ set on stage by Joe T Vannelli, DJ Dad from Articolo 31, and Wlady.
The big novelty was the evening and night parade on Sunday, March 2: at 5:30 PM, the allegorical floats departed from Via San Nazario, accompanied by masked groups. In the evening, Haiducii, famous for 'Dragostea Din Tei', and Lo Zoo di 105 with Jonny Mele, Fabio Alisei, and Pippo Palmieri took the stage.
Themes of the floats and masked groups included: 'The Rebellion of Animals and Nature', 'The Unforgettable 90s', 'Back to the Future', 'Hip Hop', and 'Picchio On Air'. A rich edition, with more floats and national guests compared to previous years, confirming Apricena among the great carnivals of Puglia.
