Hill Barolo

The 2025 edition of Hill Barolo took place in La Morra on June 20 and 21, closing with an excellent turnout. The star was the 2021 Barolo from local producers, with over 60 labels available for tasting on the panoramic Belvedere, under the guidance of AIS Piemonte sommeliers.

The event opened on Friday, June 20, with a presentation conference featuring speeches by the president of the Cantina Comunale Matteo Ellena, oenologist Sergio Molino, Gianluca Roggero (vice-president of the Consorzio di Tutela Barolo Barbaresco Alba Langhe e Dogliani), and Armando Gambera. During the event, the Giuseppe Tarditi award was presented, a recognition that the Cantina Comunale dedicates each year to a citizen of La Morra who has brought prestige to the town and the territory: the 2025 edition was awarded posthumously to Giovanni Cogno. The program was completed by a masterclass dedicated to Franciacorta and the usual convivial moments of wine, flavors, and music.
