Herz-Jesu-Prozession (Sacred Heart Procession)

The 2025 edition of the Herz-Jesu-Prozession took place in Partschins on Sunday, June 29, 2025, on the occasion of Herz-Jesu-Sonntag celebrated throughout South Tyrol. The community of the town, in the province of Bolzano, gathered for Holy Mass and the solemn Sacred Heart of Jesus procession through the village streets, accompanied by the Musikkapelle Partschins.

At the end of the procession, the band offered the usual short concert in the church square, while in the evening, the traditional Sacred Heart bonfires (Herz-Jesu-Feuer) illuminated the slopes around the village, renewing the Tyrolean vow of 1796 in one of the most evocative images of the South Tyrolean summer.
