About Hearts of Light
A run of light for solidarity
Cuori di Luce is the sporting and solidarity event that enlivens the spring evenings of San Donà di Piave, in the province of Venice. Organized by the association I Ragazzi del Piave, the event features a run and a walk that cross the city as darkness falls.
Luminous hearts in motion
Each participant wears a luminous heart on their chest: from above and along the streets, the snake of lights becomes the symbol of the event. You can choose between the 4 km walk, suitable for everyone, and the 10 km run for the more trained, starting from the Parco Fluviale and arriving at Piazza Indipendenza.
Party at the finish line
Upon arrival, the square transforms into a celebration with music, shows, and street food. The initiative, with a solidarity purpose, supports the association's projects, combining sport, charity, and socialising in a single evening.
Hearts of Light — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Cuori di Luce, the third, takes place on Saturday, May 9, in San Donà di Piave. The solidarity run and walk, organized by the association I Ragazzi del Piave, starts at 6:30 PM from Parco Fluviale and concludes at Piazza Indipendenza.
Participants, with the characteristic luminous heart on their chest, can choose between the 4 km walk and the 10 km run. At the finish, the square hosts music, shows, and street food.

How to get there
San Donà di Piave can be reached from the A4 motorway (San Donà-Noventa exit) and by train (Venice-Trieste line). Start from Parco Fluviale, finish at Piazza Indipendenza.
