The 69th Hazelnut Festival

In 2025, the Hazelnut Festival of Caprarola (Viterbo Tuscia, Lazio) celebrated its 69th edition over two weekends, from August 22-24 and August 29 - September 1, on the theme "The Nutcracker."

The first weekend alternated physical theater and aerial dance performances, a tasting tour dedicated to local excellence, a historical presentation on the Farnese family, and the comedy-musical show by the Gemelli di Guidonia in the square, culminating in the first parade of allegorical floats. The second weekend featured dance evenings with well-known DJs, the second float parade, a gospel concert, and a grand finale with a special guest and fireworks display. As per tradition, the festival offered free admission, with stalls serving hazelnut desserts, artisanal specialties, and street food.
