Edition 2025 — HAT Road

In 2025, the HAT Series featured its Marathon on a different route than in 2026: the famous Voghera-Sanremo (previously Pavia-Sanremo), starting for the first time from the Duomo square in Voghera. The passage with an overnight stay in Berceto, however, is a novelty introduced with the new Viareggio-Voghera itinerary in 2026.

The 2025 edition of the Marathon by Over 2000 Riders took place on the Voghera-Sanremo route, starting from the historic Piazza del Duomo in Voghera and finishing on the Ligurian seafront. Around 200 participants from Italy and Europe tackled the two days between Monferrato, the Ligurian Apennines, and medieval inland villages, in the Classic, Discovery, and Master Challenge categories.

The route that crosses the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines and makes Berceto (PR) the overnight stop is, however, the big novelty for 2026: the HAT Road changes its format and shifts its focus to the Apennines, connecting Viareggio to Voghera.
