HAT Marathon Legend

The first edition of the HAT Marathon Legend was held on October 4 and 5, 2025, in the Alps of the province of Cuneo, based in Garessio and Boves. The route, a loop of about 280 km in two stages of 150 km each, retraced sections of the historic Hardalpitour Classic and Extreme, on the roads where this adventure was born almost twenty years ago.

Over 120 riders participated with as many 1980s dual-sport motorcycles. Alongside the marathon, the village in Boves welcomed the public with an exhibition of historic motorcycles and the Beauty Contest, while the evening at the Borelli Auditorium hosted legendary figures of raid motorcycling, including Andrea Balestrieri, the first Italian to finish the Dakar by motorcycle in 1983. A highly successful debut that laid the groundwork for the 2026 edition in Bobbio.
