Carnival arrives in the square

During the Carnival period, Torrevecchia Pia, a town in the plain in the province of Pavia, celebrates with the Harlequin Carnival, an event dedicated to families and children. For an afternoon, Piazza del Popolo becomes an open-air stage where a show of acrobatics, juggling, and fairytale atmospheres takes place.

A show for all ages

The heart of the event is a spectacular show of acrobatics and juggling acts, enhanced by evocative sets and vibrant costumes. The square fills with color and wonder, in a magical and festive atmosphere aimed at "families, children, and dreamers of all ages". It is the classic Carnival event that unites young and old in the name of fun and imagination.

A Municipal Event

The Harlequin Carnival is organized by the Municipality of Torrevecchia Pia in collaboration with Ema70 Eventi & Service, and admission is completely free. It's a way to liven up the town center and offer families a moment of celebration in the heart of the Carnival season.

Torrevecchia Pia is a municipality of about 5,700 inhabitants immersed in the Pavia countryside, a short distance from Pavia and the Milan metropolitan area. Its Harlequin Carnival, dedicated to the famous Bergamo mask symbolizing joy, brings the joyful and popular spirit of this festival to the town square, in a version designed especially for children.
