Happennino – Cultural and Environmental Festival of the Hinterland

The eighth edition of Happennino took place in September 2025, spread over three weekends (September 6-7, 13-14, and 20-21) in the inland municipalities between Pesaro and Urbino: Sant'Angelo in Vado, Lunano, Piobbico, Mercatello sul Metauro, Borgo Pace, and Peglio.

The program combined music, culture, and nature with notable guests: Anna Castiglia with Francesco Pacifico in the 'Le Parole delle Canzoni' format, Ghemon, the theatrical monologue by Roberto Mercadini, the talk with ethnobotanist Valeria Margherita Mosca, the folk-rock concert by Davide Van De Sfroos, and the 'Happennino Suona Bene' evening with Ex-Otago and Dario Mangiaracina's DJ set. There was also space for discussion panels dedicated to the future of the highlands. The edition was organized by the Happennino Cultural Association, based in Sant'Angelo in Vado.
