Edition 2025 — Halloween at the Castle

In 2025, Halloween at the Castle of Roccascalegna took place between the night of October 31st and All Saints' Day. On the evening of the 31st, the fortress came alive with illusionists, witches, fortune tellers, and ghosts, with two fire shows and a food area in the medieval village. On November 1st, the event involved families and children with the potion workshop, held in two afternoon sessions. Those who arrived in costume or themed makeup were entitled to a discounted ticket.

The 2025 edition of Halloween at the Castle of Roccascalegna (province of Chieti) was spread over two days. Friday, October 31st, from 7:00 PM, the medieval village hosted a food area, while the fortress transformed into an evening tour through historic halls and illuminated gothic corridors, animated by illusionists, witches, fortune tellers, and ghosts. The highlight of the evening was the legend of Baron Corvo de Corvis and the Ius Primae Noctis, with two fire shows at 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM. Those arriving in costume or themed makeup received a discounted ticket.

Saturday, November 1st, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the event was dedicated to the little ones with the potion workshop, held in two sessions at 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM: amidst bubbling cauldrons and mysterious ingredients, children spent an afternoon as alchemists. The event, organized by the Pro Loco of Roccascalegna, confirmed the castle as one of the most evocative destinations in Abruzzo for Halloween night.
