Half Marathon of Flowers

The 25th edition of the Half Marathon of Flowers, held in San Benedetto del Tronto on April 13, 2025, was one of the most important in the event's history: it hosted the Italian Master Championships for the half marathon, with men's (SM35-SM80) and women's (SF35-SF80) categories and team rankings.

Nearly 1,800 participants in the competitive race ran the 21.097 km course under a cloudy sky. In the men's race, Kenyan Simon Ekidor (Atletica Potenza Picena) won in 1h02'28", ahead of Stefano Massimi from Ascoli; among the women, Manuela Bulf (Atletica Casone Noceto) won in 1h17'59". During the day, two Italian category records were set. The event, led by the president of Atletica Avis, Domenico Piunti, was enhanced by a conference dedicated to the development of youth athletics.
