Edition 2025 — Haflinger Races Maia Oktoberfest

The 2025 edition of the Haflinger Races - Maia Oktoberfest was held on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at the Merano-Maia Racecourse, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Haflinger horses animated a day of rustic racing, accompanied by performances from folk and musical groups and South Tyrolean culinary specialties, in the convivial atmosphere of the autumn Oktoberfest.

2025 Edition

On October 12, 2025, the Merano-Maia Racecourse hosted the Haflinger Races - Maia Oktoberfest, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The day combined the sport of blonde Haflinger horse racing with South Tyrolean folklore, featuring performances by folk groups and brass bands during the intervals between heats.

The stalls offered typical South Tyrolean culinary specialties and seasonal beers, recreating the festive atmosphere of Oktoberfest and confirming the event as one of the most beloved autumn days at the Merano Racecourse, in the heart of the Burgraviato.
