Gustosando in Valtellina — Traona Stop

The 2025 edition of Gustosando in Traona enlivened the lower Valtellina village over two weekends, Saturday afternoon (3:30 PM-11:00 PM) and Sunday (11:30 AM-5:00 PM). The food and wine route passed through six historic cellars, with a typical dish at each stop, from appetizer to dessert, paired with local wines.

Among the tastings offered: sciatt and taroz, gnocchetti alla valtellinese, mountain cured meats with rye bread, a cheese trio with honey, and buckwheat and blueberry cake, paired with IGT Retic Alps whites, local reds, and Valtellina Superiore DOCG. The free shuttle service from Morbegno and the accompanying activities (e-bike tour, bread-making workshop, entertainment) completed the offering.
