Guasteddra Festival

The 9th Edition (2025)

The ninth edition of the Guasteddra Festival was held in Mussomeli (CL) on December 7th and 8th, 2025, for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. The event, organized by the Pro Loco with the support of the municipal administration, brought Piazza Umberto I and the historic center to life with tastings of the traditional guasteddra, the fried sweet flatbread served hot with honey or sugar.

Highlights of the edition included: Christmas markets and local crafts, stalls featuring typical products, folk group performances, and roving shows, as well as children's entertainment with a miniature train and games. The 2025 edition confirmed the Quality Festival (Sagra di Qualità) title from the UNPLI, crowning the efforts to promote the gastronomic traditions of this Sicilian village.
