Guardian Angels Patronal Festival

The 2025 edition of the Guardian Angels Patronal Festival in Fondachelli-Fantina (Messina) took place on the second Sunday of July, July 13th, renewing the long patronal tradition of the Peloritani village.

The celebrations followed the usual pattern that intertwines faith and festivity: the preparatory novena, the solemn masses officiated by the parish priest and the Bishop, and the picturesque procession with the statue of the Guardian Angel along the village streets. Illuminations lit up the town center's monuments, while Piazza Angeli Custodi hosted the evening entertainment and music that attract residents and returning emigrants to the village every year.
