Edition 2025 — Ceramics Festival – Christmas Edition

From December 19 to 22, 2025, the Ceramics Quarter of Grottaglie transformed into a Christmas village for the Christmas Edition of the Ceramics Festival. Light installations, the large tree on the Scalinata dei Ceramisti, pottery workshops, stilt walkers, bagpipers, Santa's Village, and a charity auction brought four days of ceramic art, entertainment, and solidarity to the heart of the city in the province of Taranto.

Christmas Edition 2025

The 2025 Christmas edition of the Grottaglie Ceramics Festival took place from December 19 to 22, 2025, in the Ceramics Quarter. The inauguration, on Friday, December 19 at 6:00 PM on Via Santa Sofia, opened four days of events featuring light installations and the large tree lit up on the Scalinata dei Ceramisti.

The program brought the alleys to life with stilt walkers, bagpipers, marching bands, elves, and Santa Claus. Santa's Village welcomed children to drop off their letters every evening (6:00 PM - 8:30 PM) and on the mornings of December 20, 21, and 22 (10:30 AM - 12:30 PM). On December 21, the Duo di Due company performed storytelling theater, while pottery workshops were held in the studios with master potters, alongside guided tours by the Pro Loco.

On December 22, at 7:00 PM, a charity auction was held to support the "Le Orecchiette che Vorrei" project, dedicated to the inclusion of young people on the autism spectrum; the final day concluded with a big party at Casa Vestita, featuring live music, DJ sets, and food and wine tastings. The event was organized by the APS Nura association with the Municipality of Grottaglie.
