Edition 2025 — Grottaferrata Christmas

The 2025 edition of Grottaferrata Christmas offered a month full of events, from December 6th to January 6th, across squares, the public library, theaters, and neighborhoods. Artisan markets, concerts, gospel choirs, puppets, a funfair, and an ice rink accompanied residents and visitors from the Feast of the Immaculate Conception to Epiphany, with a program built by the Municipality of Grottaferrata together with the Pro Loco and local associations.

Grottaferrata Christmas 2025 opened on December 6th with the Waiting for Christmas cantata at the public library and continued until Epiphany. On December 8th, the Pro Loco set up the Christmas market in Piazza Alcide De Gasperi, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, which was later replicated along Corso del Popolo; during the same period, the funfair and ice rink opened at Piazzale San Nilo.

December 13th was one of the busiest days, featuring the Liszt Festival, the Christmas concert, roving carols through the center, and a vintage car exhibition; on December 14th, Piazza Cavour hosted the gospel concert. This was followed by puppet shows on December 20-21 and 28, the Christmas cantata at the Teatro Sacro Cuore on December 22, and the New Year's Eve party in Piazza Cavour on December 31. The festival closed on January 6th with the Befana's House and events dedicated to Epiphany.

Neighborhoods also had their space, from Pratone to Colle Sant'Antonio, with musical parades, entertainment for children, and small local markets.
