Also in December 2025, the Municipality of Ascoli Satriano proposed the Grifoni Christmas festival, with lights, family activities, and events in the Daunian Mountains village. The highlight was once again the Living Nativity in the historic center, curated by the Ausculum in Apulia association.

As per tradition, the streets and courtyards of the town came alive with hundreds of costumed extras, markets, workshops, and scenes of daily life that recreated the setting of ancient Roman Ausculum. There was no shortage of the Roman encampment set up by re-enactors, dancers in period costumes, and live music by the Camerata Mvsica Antiqva, while refreshment points offered mulled wine and traditional Apulian sweets.
