Gressan-Pila – Cicloscalata

The 2025 edition of the Gressan-Pila did not take place. The Gruppo Sportivo Aquile di Aosta, the race organiser, had to cancel due to the impossibility of safely setting up the finish area in Pila, which was affected by construction work for the new cable car. A difficult decision for the organisers, who stressed, however, that it was not a definitive cancellation but a postponement: the historic bike climb has indeed returned to the calendar for 2026. The 2025 break has therefore not broken the continuity of one of the most beloved classics of amateur cycling in the Aosta Valley, eagerly awaited with renewed enthusiasm on the roads of the Giro d'Italia stage.
