Green Fondo Paolo Bettini - La Geotermia

The 2025 edition of the Green Fondo Paolo Bettini - La Geotermia celebrated a double milestone: the 27th edition of the event and the 30th anniversary of VeloEtruria Pomarance, the organizing club. Nearly three hundred cyclists from all over Italy gathered in Pomarance (PI) to ride through the Colline Metallifere, medieval villages, and geothermal power plants of the Alta Val di Cecina.

The weekend began on Saturday with activities at Spazio Savioli and the gymkhana dedicated to children, continuing with the traditional Cyclist's Dinner and the barbecue supervised by Paolo Bettini in person. As recalled by Stefano Gazzarri of VeloEtruria, the goal remains "an event open to all, which values the territory and creates bonds." On Sunday, the three starts enlivened the valley's roads, amidst applause and an appointment already renewed for the following edition.
