Granita Festival

The 2025 edition of the Granita Festival was held on August 3, 2025, in Piazza della Vittoria in Spongano, in the province of Lecce. Organized by the Pro Loco Spongano APS, the free evening confirmed the traditional formula: artisanal granita prepared with fresh, seasonal Apulian fruit, served in numerous flavors, from the iconic lemon to cherry, orzata, and mint.

The square came alive from the evening hours with residents and vacationers, in one of the most beloved stops on the lower Salento summer calendar. The Granita Festival reaffirmed the convivial spirit of Apulian village festivals, where a simple product becomes an opportunity for the entire community to meet.
