2025 Edition: The Master Tricolor on Etna
The fifth Granfondo Giro dell'Etna was held on Sunday, May 4, 2025, starting from Pedara and covering a 120 km route with approximately 2,150 meters of elevation gain through the Etna villages. This edition represented a historic moment for the Sicilian race, as it was designated as the sole trial for the FCI Master Granfondo Italian Championship.
The coveted tricolor category jerseys were awarded on Mount Etna. Among the new Italian champions: Matteo Rotondi (Elite Sport), Matilde Salvadori (Elite Women Sport), and the winners of the Master categories from M1 to M9, in a day of intense competition that confirmed the growing prestige of the event organized by the ASD Gruppo Sportivo Rosso Azzurri.
