Gran Fondo del Montefeltro

The first edition of the Gran Fondo del Montefeltro, organized by ASD Velo Club Gubbio, debuted in October 2025 with start and finish in Gubbio, in the province of Perugia. The event offered two routes — the 138 km long route and the 80 km medium-distance route — crossing the territory between Umbria and Marche, through villages like Pietralunga, Acqualagna, Cagli, Cantiano, and Scheggia e Pascelupo.

Despite its debut, the race attracted around 700 participants and numerous cycling clubs from all over Italy, reversing the negative trend of granfondos and laying the groundwork for an event destined to grow. The success led, as early as the following edition, to its inclusion in the Circuito Prestigio and Granfondo Marche.
