Goose Palio of Cagli

The 39th edition of the Goose Palio of Cagli took place over two weekends, August 2-3 and August 8-9-10, 2025. The event brought the Marche town back to the full splendor of the Renaissance, with processions, taverns, and skill contests among the four historic districts.

On Sunday, August 10, after the grand historical procession with over four hundred participants in costume, the Palio Competition at the Sant'Emidio Arena saw the Sant'Agostino district triumph, victorious on the fourth roll from the palio zone thanks to the golden hand of the thrower and the impeccable execution of the pages. A hard-fought edition until the last roll, concluding with the great celebration of the winning district in the streets of Cagli.
