Edition 2025 — Good Friday Procession

In 2025, the Good Friday Procession once again traversed the historic center of Savona, with the wooden 'casse' of the Confraternities carried on shoulders from the Cathedral to Piazza Sisto IV. The centuries-old rite, organized by the General Priory of the Confraternities, attracted thousands of spectators on the night before Easter.

The 2025 edition of the Good Friday Procession renewed one of Savona's most solemn and iconic rites. The wooden 'casse' of the historic Confraternities were carried on shoulders through the streets of the center, starting from the Cathedral and reaching Piazza Sisto IV. A procession filled with faith and art, followed by thousands of solemn spectators, which confirmed the tradition's importance for the city.
