In 2025, the Good Friday Procession in Polizzi Generosa renewed its ancient charm. The Madonna of the Agonizing, in Andalusian style, traversed the alleys of the Madonie village wrapped in the black lace mantle with gold decorations signed by Domenico Dolce, preceded by over fifty confreres in black robes. The procession, also covered by the Sicilian press for its connection to the Dolce & Gabbana fashion house, confirmed its reputation as one of the most elegant and silent religious ceremonies on the island.

The 2025 edition of the Good Friday Procession in Polizzi Generosa (PA) once again featured the secular rite organized by the Confraternity of Mary Most Holy of the Agonizing.
