Good Friday Procession (Madonna Addolorata)

The 2025 edition of the Good Friday Procession was held in Marsala on Friday, April 18, 2025, immersing the city in the solemnity and reflection of Holy Week. The statue of the Madonna Addolorata left the Sanctuary at 2:30 PM; at 3:00 PM, the Celebration of the Lord's Passion took place at the Mother Church.

From approximately 5:00 PM, the procession crossed the historic center along a long route that touched, among others, Piazza della Repubblica, via XI Maggio, Piazza Matteotti, viale Isonzo, via dei Mille, and Piazza dell'Addolorata. Upon the return of the statue, the Sanctuary remained open until midnight for personal prayer.
