Edition 2025 — Good Friday Procession

The 2025 edition of the Bagheria Good Friday Procession took place on Friday, April 18, 2025, starting at 4:00 PM. The floats of the Dead Christ and Our Lady of Sorrows paraded from the Church of the Holy Sepulchre along the streets of the center, with a municipal ordinance closing the roads involved in the parade to traffic from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

2025 Edition

On April 18, 2025, the Good Friday Procession animated the center of Bagheria. The parade departed from Piazza Santo Sepolcro at 4:00 PM and wound its way along Corso Butera, Via L. Maggiore, Via Sac. A. A. Sammarco, Via Luca Giordano, Via Senatore Scaduto, Via O. Tomaselli, Via Angiò, Via Litterio, Via L. Sturzo, and Corso Umberto, before returning to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. To allow for the rite to take place, the Municipality ordered a ban on traffic and parking from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM on the streets of the route. The procession confirmed its central role in Bagheria's Holy Week, with great participation from confreres and the faithful.
