Edition 2025 — 'A Sulità

On Good Friday, April 18, 2025, Carini celebrated 'A Sulità, the procession of the Dead Christ and Our Lady of Sorrows. From the Church of the SS. Rosario, at 6:00 PM, the brothers of the Congregation of the Via Crucis led the statues to the Mother Church, from where the solemn parade departed at 9:00 PM through the streets of the historic center.

In 2025, the 'A Sulità procession was held on Good Friday, April 18. As every year, the statues of the Dead Christ and Our Lady of Sorrows, kept in the Church of the SS. Rosario, were carried on the shoulders by the brothers of the Congregation of the Via Crucis (the 'dei 33') starting from 6:00 PM, to the Mother Church.

At 9:00 PM, the solemn procession began along the streets of Carini, deeply felt by the entire community. The rite, rooted in popular devotion, confirmed once again in 2025 the town's strong bond with one of the most evocative traditions of Holy Week in the Province of Palermo.
