Edition 2025 — Via Crucis of Cerveteri

The 2025 edition of the Good Friday Historical Re-enactment took place on Friday, April 18, during Holy Week. As per tradition, over one hundred actors in costume retraced the Passion of Christ through the alleys of Cerveteri's historic center, starting from Piazza Aldo Moro with the participation of a large audience of residents and visitors.

2025 Edition

The Good Friday Historical Re-enactment of Cerveteri returned on Friday, April 18, 2025, confirming the vitality of a tradition that accompanies the town's Holy Week in the province of Rome. In this edition as well, over one hundred actors in period costumes represented the final hours of Jesus' life, from the betrayal of Judas to the crucifixion on Mount Golgotha.

The procession, organized by the Good Friday Committee, wound its way from the steps of Piazza Aldo Moro along the alleys of the historic center, featuring chariots, horses, lighting effects, and music, attracting a large and engaged audience.
