Edition 2025 — Gnocchi al Castrato
The 27th edition
On Saturday, July 19, 2025, the hamlet of Casali di Poggio Nativo hosted the twenty-seventh edition of the Gnocchi al Castrato Festival, included in the calendar of the 47th Sant'Anna Festival organized by the Comitato Casali.
Stalls opened at 8:00 PM with the signature dish of the evening, handmade gnocchi with castrato sauce, prepared according to the traditional Sabina recipe. From 9:00 PM, the stage was taken over by the cover band Jovasafari, which had the audience singing and dancing under the stars.
As every year, the gnocchi evening was one of the most popular of the festival, attracting visitors from neighboring towns in the Rieti Sabina and the Rome area. Affordable prices, outdoor tables, and a village festival atmosphere confirmed the event's successful formula.
