Edition 2025 — Gnoccacci Festival
The 40th edition, August 2025
In 2025, the Gnoccacci Festival reached the milestone of 40 editions, confirming the format of two late-summer evenings: Saturday, August 23 and Saturday, August 30, with stands opening at 7:30 PM in Piazza Pontica, in Rocca Santo Stefano.
The star dish was, as always, the local gnoccaccio, hand-kneaded with water and flour and served with a sauce of porcini mushrooms foraged from the woods surrounding the village in the Prenestini Mountains. The event was organized by the Municipality in collaboration with the Pro Loco.
The two evenings were accompanied by live music in the square: on August 23, Dissonanti performed, while on August 30, it was the turn of SMILF. The 2026 edition subsequently moved the event to July.
