Edition 2025 — Segra de Badia

The 2025 edition of Gní de munt / Segra de Badia took place on Saturday, September 20th in Badia, Alta Badia. The village festival combined the traditional cattle drive from alpine pastures with the Ladin Kirchweihfest: the herd returned to the valley in the afternoon and was welcomed by the inhabitants at the J. B. Runcher Event Hall, amidst local culinary specialties and live music in a community celebration atmosphere.

Gní de munt / Segra de Badia 2025

The 2025 edition was held on September 20th in Badia/Abtei, Alta Badia (Province of Bolzano). The day celebrated the village festival alongside the Gní de munt, the cattle drive from the alpine pastures back to the valley at the end of the grazing season.

The highlight was the return of the cattle in the afternoon, welcomed at the J. B. Runcher Event Hall on Str. San Linert. There was no shortage of culinary specialties from the South Tyrolean tradition and live music, in a festive atmosphere that involved families, residents, and visitors. The event was organized by the Bauernjugend Badia, the local rural youth organization.

In the afternoon: traditional cattle drive from the alpine pastures (Gní de munt / Almabtrieb) returning to the valley at the J. B. Runcher Event Hall.

Followed by: local culinary specialties and live music.
