Gironi Divini 2025 in Tagliacozzo

From August 22 to 24, 2025, the historic center of Tagliacozzo hosted a new edition of Gironi Divini, featuring a trail of eight tasting stations set up among the village streets, the Cloister of San Francesco, and the Palazzo Ducale. Over 350 labels were judged by a technical jury, with Assomarso sommeliers guiding the public.

The program alternated talks and finals dedicated to the great Abruzzo wines each evening: Pecorino and Trebbiano d'Abruzzo on Friday, Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo and an in-depth look at amphora-aged wines on Saturday, and "unusual wines" and the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo final on Sunday. To complete the evenings, there were tastings of cigars and local liqueurs like genziana and ratafià, DJ sets, and cocktails. An edition that confirmed Gironi Divini as one of the benchmark food and wine events in the Marsica and Abruzzo regions.

Saturday, August 23 — 7:30 PM opening of stations; 8:00 PM Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo final; 9:45 PM "Wines in Amphora" talk; 11:15 PM cigar and liqueur tasting.

Sunday, August 24 — 7:30 PM opening; 8:00 PM "Unusual Wines, Children of Abruzzo" talk; 9:45 PM Montepulciano d'Abruzzo final; followed by DJ set and cocktails.
