Edition 2025 — Giro di San Giacomo
In April 2025, the Giro di San Giacomo opened the Trofeo Trieste as every year with its historic running race in the Campi Elisi area, in the heart of the Trieste district, attracting running clubs and amateurs.
The 2025 edition of the Giro di San Giacomo confirmed its role as the opening event of the Trofeo Trieste, the city's running circuit. The road race took place in the Campi Elisi area, in the popular San Giacomo district, with start and finish near the Ariston Cinema. Organized by ASD GS San Giacomo Trieste, the race attracted local running clubs, registered athletes, and amateurs, renewing a sporting tradition that has lasted for over eighty years.
