The Giro d'Italia Women 2025 took place as the usual summer stage race for international women's cycling. The passage of the Corsa Rosa through the territory of San Nicolò di Comelico, with the flying sprint on the Costa climb, is a novelty for the 2026 route: therefore, no passage of the race is documented for this municipality in the previous edition.

The Giro d'Italia Women is the main stage race on the UCI Women's World Tour calendar. The 2025 edition was held following a route that crossed several Italian regions. The passage through the territory of San Nicolò di Comelico, with the flying sprint on the Costa climb, represents a novelty for the 2026 route designed in the Belluno Dolomites: therefore, no direct involvement of this municipality in the Comelico region is documented for the 2025 edition of the race.
