The Giro d'Italia Handbike also experienced a season rich in stages across the peninsula in 2025, consolidating its status as the most important European paralympic handbiking competition. International UCI category athletes competed for the general and category classification jerseys, in a circuit that involves various Italian cities each year. The success of the format led to the organization of the 16th edition in 2026, with five international stages including the one in Cesano Maderno.
