Edition 2025 — Giro d'Italia in Aosta

In 2025, the 108th Giro d'Italia took place, the historic stage race of professional cycling organized by RCS Sport. The Corsa Rosa crosses Italy every year with three weeks of racing between flat stages, rolling terrain, and great mountain stages, and in 2026 it will stop again in Valle d'Aosta with an uphill finish in Pila, above Aosta.

The Giro d'Italia is one of the three major stage races in world cycling and in 2025 it celebrated its 108th edition, always organized by RCS Sport. For three weeks, the Corsa Rosa travels across the peninsula, alternating flat stages, undulating fractions, and tough mountain climbs, with the famous maglia rosa (pink jersey) awarded to the leader of the general classification.

Although there was no finish in Aosta in 2025, the race is an eagerly awaited event every year, also in Valle d'Aosta, a land of great Alpine climbs. The 2026 edition will bring the Giro back to the Aosta Valley capital with the Aosta-Pila stage, confirming the bond between the Corsa Rosa and the region's mountains.
