Edition 2025 — Giro della Valle d'Aosta
The 62nd edition of the Giro Ciclistico della Valle d'Aosta - Mont Blanc was held in July 2025, reaffirming its status as one of the toughest and most prestigious Under 23 races on the international calendar. The route tackled the historic climbs of the Aosta Valley, with stages such as Pré-Saint-Didier - Colle del Gran San Bernardo, Saint-Pierre - Valsavarenche (Pont), and the concluding Valtournenche - Breuil-Cervinia.
The general classification was won by Jarno Widar (Lotto Development Team), who also secured victory in the final three stages. However, the edition was overshadowed by the tragic and premature death of young rider Samuele Privitera, who fell during the first stage in Pontey – a sorrow that deeply affected the entire cycling world. The race is organized by the Società Ciclistica Valdostana, in the heart of the Aosta Valley.
