Edition 2025 — Giornata dell'Emigrante

The 57th Emigrant's Day was held on Sunday, July 27, 2025, in Lusiana di Lusiana Conco. Between the Palazzon Council Chamber and the little Church of Santa Maria degli Emigranti in Velo, the program combined greetings from authorities, a presentation by Father Paolo Parise on migration, the Lusiana band concert, a mass, and the presentation of the Golden Plaque to Father Parise, followed by a community lunch.

The 2025 edition, the 57th Giornata dell'Emigrante, took place on Sunday, July 27, in Lusiana di Lusiana Conco, organized by the Ente Vicentini nel Mondo with the Municipality and the parish of San Giacomo.

The morning began in the Palazzon Council Chamber with greetings from the mayor and authorities and a presentation titled 'Migrants of the Past and Present' by Father Paolo Parise. This was followed by a concert by the Lusiana band, a mass in the Chiesetta di Santa Maria degli Emigranti (little Church of Saint Mary of the Emigrants) in Velo, presided over by Monsignor Leopoldo Voltan, and the presentation of the Golden Plaque to Father Parise, before the community lunch.

  • 12:30 PM — Presentation of the Golden Plaque to Father Parise
  • 1:00 PM — Community lunch
