Gioco del Panforte – Adult Tournament

The 2025 edition of the Gioco Popolare del Panforte, in its 23rd year and dedicated to the City of Pienza, brought the Val d'Orcia village to life from December 26th to 30th, 2025, under the Logge del Palazzo Comunale.

The tournament began on the afternoon of Boxing Day at 3:00 PM, with thirty-two teams registered from various locations in the Val d'Orcia and Valdichiana. For five days, the teams competed by sliding the panforte along the long table, in an atmosphere of healthy competition that attracts hundreds of spectators every year.

On December 30th, the newly formed Associazione del Gioco del Panforte, with president Fabio Martini, awarded the winning team, concluding one of Pienza's most beloved Christmas events.
