Edition 2025 — Ginevra d'Illasi Palio

The "Ginevra d'Illasi" Renaissance Festival took its first steps in August 2025, during the Sagra di San Bartolomeo, Illasi's patronal feast. A first experience of historical re-enactment dedicated to Ginevra Serego degli Alighieri, which laid the groundwork for the first Renaissance Palio in 2026, with Renaissance atmospheres, costumes, and cultural moments in the Veronese village.

The "Ginevra d'Illasi" Renaissance Festival debuted in August 2025, as part of the Sagra di San Bartolomeo, Illasi's patronal feast. This first experience, dedicated to the figure of Ginevra Serego degli Alighieri, a descendant of Dante, brought Renaissance atmospheres, costumes, and moments of historical insight to the Veronese village, laying the groundwork for the first true Renaissance Palio scheduled for 2026. The initiative is part of the effort to enhance the Illasi Castle and the historical heritage of the town, in the province of Verona.
